Premium video conferencing features are coming to Hangouts Meet until July 1st, 2020

Due to the spread of the coronavirus, Google is allowing businesses and schools use the premium version of Hangouts meet until July 1st.

What is Hangouts Meet

Google’s Hangouts Meet is their video conference software, available to Kenton City Schools users for online meetings. This is not to be confused with Hangouts Chat, which is a instant messaging service. With Hangouts Meet you can have video chats with up to 100 people.

Premium features

The premium features we will have access to are:

• Increased participant limit of 250 participants per video call
• Live stream a video call (up to 100,000 viewers within a domain)
• Record a video call
