The Kenton City Schools Technology Department will be offering PD classes starting in November.
Wednesday classes will take place from 3:45 to 4:45. Saturday classes will be longer, taking place from 9 am – 12 pm. All classes will be held at Northwood, 531 Gilmore St., in Kenton. The classes will be canceled if Kenton City Schools is closed due to the weather.
Classes will be added throughout the school year, so check back often! If there is a particular subject that you would like covered in a class, let me know,

11/29/17 | Using Google Cast for Education | Google Cast for Education allows students to wireless broadcast their screen to a projector in the room. Works great for presentations! |
12/6/17 | Start.me | Directing students to websites used in your classroom becomes a breeze with Start.me. You can create a class homepage with links to websites that will be used in your classroom. |
1/10/18 | Google Docs for Microsoft Word Users | This class will help participants transition from Microsoft Word to Google Docs. |
1/24/18 | Gmail tips & tricks | Gmail can be used as a powerful organizer, this class will cover several tips and tricks that you can use with Gmail. |
2/7/18 | Screencasting for Beginners | Get started creating videos for your classroom and distributing the videos on Youtube and Google Drive. |
2/21/18 | Exit/entry tickets using Google | How to automate exit/entry tickets in your classroom utilizing Google Forms and Google Slides. |

3/10/18 | Re-assessing assessment and student ownership in the 1:1 classroom | How could the 1:1 classroom look? How do you start on this journey? This class will answer these questions and more! |
